Outdoor cat tree

Kittens can start exploring small, low-level scratching posts as early as 8 weeks old. However, for our taller multi-level towers, we recommend waiting until your kitten is around 4 to 6 months old and is a confident climber. Our cat trees are designed to support them right through to adulthood!

It is incredibly easy! Every cat tree comes with a clear, step-by-step instruction manual and all the necessary tools (like an Allen key). Most of our customers have their feline's new sanctuary fully set up in just 15 to 30 minutes—no advanced DIY skills required.

To keep the tree looking fresh, simply vacuum the plush areas and condos regularly to remove loose cat hair. For small marks or stains, use a damp cloth with a pet-safe cleaner. We also highly recommend checking and tightening the screws every few months to ensure the structure remains perfectly stable.

Safety is our priority. All our cat trees are designed with wide, reinforced bases for excellent balance. For our Extra Tall models, we recommend placing them against a flat wall or securely in a room corner. Some of our tallest towers also include a wall-anchoring strap for maximum security, which is perfect if you have heavy or highly energetic cats.

If your cat is agile and loves surveying the room from the highest possible point, our Tall Cat Tree collection is ideal. If you have a larger, heavier breed (such as a Maine Coon or Ragdoll) or multiple cats sharing the same space, we highly suggest our Large Cat Tree collection, which features wider bases, thicker scratching posts, and more spacious condos.

Good news! The money tree plant (Pachira aquatica) is generally considered non-toxic to cats. However, if your feline friend decides to chew on the leaves, it could still cause mild stomach upset. To protect your houseplants, it is always a great idea to redirect their climbing and scratching instincts towards a dedicated cat tree.

No, tea tree oil is highly toxic to cats. Even a few drops applied to their skin, ingested, or inhaled through a diffuser can cause severe poisoning, leading to neurological issues and liver damage. Always keep tea tree oil products strictly out of reach of your pets.

Yes, real Christmas trees (such as pine, fir, and spruce) can pose risks to your cat. The natural oils in the needles can irritate a cat's mouth and stomach, whilst ingested needles can cause serious intestinal blockages. Additionally, the water in the tree stand often harbours harmful bacteria or toxic preservatives.

To keep your cat safely away from the Christmas tree, try securing the tree firmly to a wall or ceiling to prevent it from toppling over. Avoid using shiny tinsel, place delicate ornaments higher up, and use a pet-safe citrus deterrent spray around the base. The best distraction is providing a better alternative—like a tall Petoflove cat tree—so they have their own safe, towering space to climb instead!
